Chapel
The chapel room locates on the 1st floor of the main building. Our chapel provides a warm environment to integrate faith and learning no matter where you are in your spiritual journey.
Back in 1976, Bethesda University was founded on a Christian groundwork derived from Pentecostal Theology to equip future leaders with the professional skills needed to become leaders in world peace and world missions by building churches and Bible institutions around the world. In Bethesda University chapel and local church participation is emphasized because worship is an important element in the University’s strategy for spiritual formation. Particularly, all undergraduate students are required to participate in extracurricular ministry, as well as to attend a weekly chapel event.
Today, Bethesda University holds a vibrant community committed to further exploring the roots, mystery, and progression of Pentecostalism.
First Chapel of Spring 2024 at BUC
As the spring semester unfolds at Bethesda University, students and faculty converge in the
Chapel to renew their spiritual journey. Led by Josiah Paredez and Moses Aleman, the first
Chapel session of Spring 2024 was opened with worship and reflection.
Amidst the serene campus backdrop, hymns and prayers echoed, fostering a sense of unity and
devotion among attendees. For students, the Chapel serves as a sanctuary—a place to find
solace and strength amidst academic challenges.
It stands as a testament to the university's commitment to holistic development, nurturing the
mind and spirit alike. As the spring semester progresses, the Chapel remains a beacon of faith
and community, inviting all to partake in its transformative embrace.
